Reasons for Choosing
»Transfer large files with a browser
file.kiwi starts uploading as soon as files are selected and provides a shareable Webfolder link. The service does not set a fixed web per-file size cap, but actual transfer capability depends on the sender’s and recipient’s browser, device, storage, memory, and network.
»Share without asking recipients to register
Recipients open the complete Webfolder link in a browser. Basic is intended for one-time transfers, while Web Folder+ is designed for repeated sharing and business use.
»Keep the content private
Files and file names are encrypted in the browser with end-to-end 128-bit AES-GCM. The decryption secret remains after # in the shared URL and is not sent to the server.
»Use predictable retention
Basic files have size-based free download windows and are deleted 90 hours after upload. Web Folder+ files start with 7 days and can be extended in 7-day increments using capacity. See pricing for the exact lifecycle.
